Kerry Washington Named New Face of Neutrogena
As if Kerry Washington doesn’t have enough going on right now, she is adding yet another endorsement deal onto her overflowing resume.
The star of ABC’s hit show, “Scandal,” has been named Neutrogena’s creative consultant and celebrity brand ambassador. Not only will Washington be appearing in the brand’s ads, but she’ll also be taking on a hands-on role as far as product development, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
“For me, the creative consultant role is also fun because I get to bring my fans on this adventure with me,” Washington said. “They know that I’m not just telling them that I’m passionate about a product because I have to say that contractually. They know that I have a voice in the company and that I’m discovering and learning more about skin health all the time and giving the company feedback.”
This has been quite a successful year for Washington, as she’s landed on Forbes’ highest paid actors list for the first time at No. 20, reportedly earning a $3 million salary. The star also landed the year’s top best-dressed spots for Vanity Fair and People as well as covers for Elle and Glamour. Come 2014, Washington will star in Neutrogena ads for the Visibly Even BB cream, the Makeup Remover Wipes and more of her favorite products.
Congrats to Kerry for all her success and for maintaining that glow!
