Jacob Banks Shares Video For “Love Ain’t Enough” Remix Featuring Ghetts

Critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Jacob Banks premieres the powerful visual for his “Love Ain’t Enough” remix featuring Ghetts, the first of three original videos directed by Jacob in partnership with YouTube Music Artist on the Rise, an emerging artist program dedicated to supporting up-and-coming talent. YouTube hand-selected Jacob as their December Artist on the Rise following the release of his debut album Village on Interscope Records, recognizing not only his incredible vocal talent but his innate ability to offer different perspectives through compelling visuals. The “Love Ain’t Enough” video, Jacob reveals, “celebrates the outsiders who still somehow always find a way to matter.” Watch “Love Ain’t Enough” below.

Village was recently released to widespread praise with NPR proclaiming, “the first thing you’ll notice about musician Jacob Banks is his voice — a mesmerizingly deep baritone with timbre so rich, you can almost feel it wrapping you up in song,” and V Magazine announcing, “Jacob Banks’ hypnotic voice transcends all borders.” VIBE named Village one of the “30 Best Albums of 2018,” stating, “when the time comes for Banks to look back on a career well spent, Village will hold up as a shining example of a running start,” and Hot New Hip Hop predicted Village “points us toward a budding star with the makings of a crossover luminary.” Ones To Watch pronounces, “the village that raised Banks is the world at large, and it is because of this that Village feels so universal. It is heard and felt in both the generations-old influences, modern inspirations, and comprehensive lyrical scope that have gone into this phenomenal debut.”

Jacob recently kicked off the North American leg of his Village tour with performances of “Chainsmoking” and “Slow Up” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The tour sees Jacob stepping into the biggest venues of his career, including LA’s The Fonda and NYC’s Brooklyn Steel (see full list of dates below). The Boston Globe declares, “born in Nigeria and raised in Birmingham, England, this deep-voiced crooner is one of the best examples of genre-averse streaming-era pop, his dipping into different styles from the future and the past anchored by commanding and passionate singing” and Time Out New York asserts, “you can bet that his show is going to be a smash.” Tickets and a VIP package are available for purchase now via http://www.mrjacobbanks.com/.
