After three sold-out stops in LA and NYC earlier this summer, slowthai announces his debut headlining North American tour. The Coming to America tour will take him across the country beginning September 4th in Los Angeles, with stops in Vancouver, Seattle, and Chicago, before ending September 14th in New York. All dates go on sale July 1st. The announcement arrives shortly after his explosive live debut in Los Angeles and New York, Billboard sitting with him at his Brooklyn show and naming him “the most electric new artist” and Brooklyn Vegan declaring that “not a person in that packed room seemed like they weren’t having the time of their life.”
The tour also arrives after an incendiary performance at Glastonbury this past weekend, where he also stopped by Denzel Curry’s set to perform an unreleased song. slowthai’s critically-acclaimed debut album, Nothing Great About Britain, was released earlier this Spring via True Panther Records/Method Records. The album has already been named one of this year’s best by Billboard, The Guardian, Highsnobiety, and Variety and includes standout tracks “Doorman,” “Peace of Mind,” “Nothing Great About Britain,” “Gorgeous” and “Inglorious” featuring Skepta.
