French-Caribbean powerhouse Adeline (pronounced ad-uh-leen) has been hard at work in the studio this spring, and has several new jams ready to roll this summer. First up: her funky new single, “Top Down” released today. A jane of all trades who sings, plays bass, writes and produces her own music, Adeline’s new track showcases her rhythmic finesse and seductive vocals, culminating in a slinky bass driven epic.

A well known voice in the dance music scene due to her long-running role as the lead singer of NYC disco outfit Escort, Adeline’s recent debut as a solo artist is has captivated the press and tastemakers across fashion, music and more. Following her last show at NYC’s C’mon Everybody tonight she’ll head to Japan for a week of shows before heading to Funk on the Rocks, where she was invited to perform the Chromeo-curated show that also features Big Freeda and Thievery Corp. She is currently featured in an “Artist Portrait”with fashion brand La Ligne. which also features her track “Before” in their latest ad campaign staring Olivia Wilde.
In 2018, she released her solo debut [ad•uh•leen] – which she co-produced with Morgan Wiley (Hercules & Love Affair, Midnight Magic), wrote & played bass on – giving nods to Chaka Khan, Prince, Curtis Mayfield & Sylvester while remaining contemporary. On stage Adeline captivates crowds with her earth-shattering voice, deep grooves and daring personal style.
