Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch Winehouse is working on scheduling a hologram tribute concert tour for his late legendary daughter. He recently announced the project and released photos which will be used to create Amy Winehouse’s hologram. The tour featuring the star’s hologram will be supported by a live concert band playing all of her music. Proceeds from the tour will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which helps young people suffering from substance abuse.
Her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil however, wants no part of the tour and is in complete disagreement with her family. In an interview with Good Morning Britain, Blake states he feels the tour is just a cash grab.
He told the show, “The way I feel about the actual hologram itself, it’s no different to watching a video clip or listening to her music, but I object to every sort of opportunity that’s been made. It seems since Amy passed away seven years ago, there’s been three films, a hologram tour. To me, I can’t see many other reasons for this tour.”
