Andra Day is reportedly in talks with Hollywood big wigs to play the late legendary Billie Holiday in an upcoming biopic. The film which will be directed by Lee Daniels is still in its early stages of negotiations regarding its production.
Andra Day and Lakeith Stanfield are two leading candidates so far for the films main characters. Both stars are excited about the opportunity to work with Lee Daniels on the potential Billie Holiday biopic. The film has not been signed by a studio yet but production is already scheduled to start at the end of 2018 early 2019.
