The reason they gave fans for their split was that their schedules were hectic espicially with their upcoming individual projects. Well you know fans, they accepted that for the moment until they started seeing Ariana Grande in various situations and began to calculate her timeline. Like on May 10th or so her and Mac Miller’s break-up, on May 13th, she attended Saturday Night Live after party as a guest of the show’s Pete Davidson.
Things between Ariana and Pete could be purely coincidental fans speculated at that time but when he showed up for her performance at the Billboard Music Awards, the speculations flew. Many fans feel like they have put 1 and 1 together and arrived at Ariana and Pete are dating and thereby sparked the speculations. Putting the nail in the proverbial coffin was People’s article which states – Davidson was on hand to support Grande as she performed on Sunday at the Billboard Music Awards. “After Ariana’s performance, they were backstage and he had his arm around her,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE exclusively. “They seemed very lovey-dovey. He was hanging out with her and her friends with his arm around her. She seemed quite smitten.”
