The Coachella stage may never be the same again now that Queen Bey has raised the performance and showman bar to the level of which the event is being called Beychella. There were reports during the weeks leading up to the show that Cardi B had hired a group of Beyonce’s dancers to work for her. There were also reports as to who would dominate Coachella between Beyonce and Cardi B who is really hot right now. The veteran Queen countered the first by hiring over 100 dancers and the second by putting on a show that may never be topped by anyone during our time.
Beyonce took the stage and held it like a Queen Shaman of antiquity, with a spell binding performance that kept the audience in a trance long after her performance was over and she had left the stage. Her outfits were inspired by Black royalty transcending past Queens such as Nefertiti and the Queen of Sheba, with the help of Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing. To complete her phenomenal performance, Bey went back to her roots, her beginning in the music industry by bringing out Destiny’s Child.
