Black Men Arrested at Starbucks Settle For $1 Each – Details Here!

The two black men that were arrested in a Starbucks in Philly just for sitting in the store without buying anything have settled for $1 each. Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson made the deal to accept $1 each from the city if its officials agreed to set up a $200,000 program to help young entrepreneurs such as themselves. Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson are young Black businessmen themselves and so they understand how hard it is for black men to get business loans, Angel Investors and other opportunities to launch a business. Therefore, their agreement to accept $1 each and the $200,000 to help young entrepreneurs is a great gesture.

Since the incident which took place on April 12th, Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson went to Philadelphia and personally apologized to Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson. Shortly after the apology, he made an announcement that Starbucks stores would close on May 29 for bias training. When Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson were arrested in Starbucks, they were waiting for another gentleman with whom they had a scheduled business meeting with.
