You remember Blue Ivy at the Grammy Awards when she tried to get her superstar parents to be quiet. Well Blue was at it again. Beyonce and Jay-Z attended the 2nd Annual Wearable Art Gala at Alexandria Ballrooms in Los Angeles with Blue Ivy who is obviously an art connoisseur to say the least. The Wearable Art Gala’s theme was “From WACO to Wakanda,” and Beyonce and Blue Ivy wore matching dresses. The event was hosted by Ms. Knowles and Beyonce and Jay’s mom Ms. Carter were both awarded for their humanitarian contributions and work.
During the auction portion of the Art Gala, Blue Ivy watched patiently and when she saw a piece of art that she liked she raised her paddle and bid $17,000 on it. Only, this is not what was supposed to happen. Jay Z tried jokingly to take the auction paddle away from her but someone else outbid her. Blue Ivy still aware of the auction wasn’t having it so she dodged Jay Z’s reach and bid $19,000 before he was able to take the paddle away from her. The entire adorable incident ended in laughter, with all eyes on Blue and with the auctioneer saying, “19, yes, Miss Blue.”

Blue Ivy lost her bid to Tyler Perry who got the portrait for $20,000. But she did get an art composed of deconstructed law books from Indiana and medical books from California, created by artist Samuel Levi Jones for $10,000. Blue Ivy, seems to have a style and swagger of her own, and so far we know she likes to dress, she’s a trendsetter with the hair, she’s conservative in the public eye and now we also know that she has an eye for expensive art.
