Cardi B’s ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ is The #1 Album On Billboard – Details Here!

To no one’s surprise Cardi B’s debut album “Invasion of Privacy” is the #1 album on Billboard 200 chart with 255,000 units sold in its first week according to Nielsen. In addition to being her first #1 album “Invasion of Privacy” receives the second-best sales week of 2018 behind Justin Timberlake whose album, “Man of the Woods” sold 293,000 units in its first week. The album also holds the record for the largest on-demand audio streaming week for an album by a woman and the biggest streaming week for a debut studio album.

As Cardi continues her reign, she’s added a substantial amount of accalades to her career including more than 100 million streams worldwide in a week, making “Invasion of Privacy,” Apple Music’s most-streamed album by a female artist in its first week. The record for Apple Music’s most-streamed album for a female artist was previously held by Taylor Swift for her album “Reputation”. Her single “Bodak Yellow” has become the only second song by an unaccompanied female rapper to ever top the chart after Lauryn Hill did so in 1998 with “Doo Wop (That Thing)”.

“Invasion of Privacy” debut at #1, makes Cardi B the fifth female rapper ever to debut at #1 behind Nicki Minaj who did it twice, Eve, Foxy Brown and Lauryn Hill.
