Cash Money Signee ‘Young Greatness’ Shot & Killed in New Orleans – Details Here!

As the senseless deaths of young African-American males continues to prevail all around the country, we can add another rapper to the list. New Orleans own, rapper Young Greatness, born Theodore Jones, was reportedly fatally shot and killed outside the Waffle House in the 2900 block of Elysian Fields Avenue in New Orleans early this morning (Oct 29). The 34-years-old aspiring rapper signed his first major record deal last year with Cash Money Records and was reportedly working on his studio debut album.

According to NOPD reports, Young Greatness, was shot and killed around 1:35 a.m. The incident is currently under investigation but NOPD is looking for two men who escaped in Young Greatness’ car which they later abandoned. The motive behind the fatal shooting is not yet known but we’ll keep you posted.

When Birdman signed Young Greatness back in 2917, he said about the rapper, “The first time I heard him, I knew he was going to be big. He’s got a grasp on melody that few artists have. It’s the sound of the future.”
