Chris Brown is a free man,  troubled singer was released from a Los Angeles County jail just after midnight Monday.

Brown had been in jail since March. He was ordered to be held after being expelled from a Court-ordered rehabilitation facility. He had been ejected from the facility for violating the rules.

Brown admitted that he violated his probation in May, for his arrest year for an alleged assault in Washington. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin sentenced Brown to serve 365 days in jail for the admitted probation violation, and the singer was given credit for serving 234 days because of the rehab and jail time.

Even as Brown spent most of 2014 locked away (either in a Malibu rehab or behind bars), his latest single, “Loyal,” has been inescapable on radio. Released in December, the single has cracked the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and peaked at No. 4 on the R&B/hip-hop songs.

Brown still isn’t out of the clear with the law, and that too will have an impact on how he handles his life and career from here on out.

The singer is still on the hook for the Washington misdemeanor, his probation was extended to January and he’ll be required to see a psychiatrist and a therapist, take appropriate medication, abstain from medical marijuana and complete his outstanding community service.

Brown biggest challenge, will he have the discipline to maintain structure in his life, abstain  from drugs, and focus on today!..

Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

There are two days in every week
about which we should not worry,
Two days which should be kept free of fear and apprehension.

One of these days is YESTERDAY,
With its mistakes and cares,
Its faults and blunders,
Its aches and pains.
YESTERDAY has passed forever beyond our control.

All the money in the world cannot bring back YESTERDAY.
We cannot undo a single act we performed;
We cannot erase a single word we said.
YESTERDAY is gone.

The other day we should not worry about is TOMORROW
With its possible adversities, its burdens, its larger promise.
TOMORROW is also beyond our immediate control.

TOMORROW, the sun will rise,
Either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds,
But it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in TOMORROW
For it is as yet unborn.

This leaves only one day – TODAY.
Any man can fight the battles of just one day.
It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities
– YESTERDAY and TOMORROW –
That we break down.

It is not the experience of TODAY that drives men mad.
It is remorse or bitterness for something which happened YESTERDAY
And the dread of what TOMORROW may bring.

Let us, therefore, live but ONE day at a time.
