Colin Kaepernick Signed as New Face of Nike’s ‘Just Do It’ Campaign – Details Here!

Colin Kaepernick put it all on the line as an NFL quarterback and he put it all on the line again as an activist seeking equality for those without voices. Of his many achievements, Colin is best known for his taking a knee during the pledge of allegiance in the start of NFL games. This protest gesture cost him his career in the NFL but, it also gave rise to many other players who continued the protest injustice, long after Colin was no longer in the league. In addition to losing his career in the NFL, Colin also lost all of his endorsements from sponsors who began to treat him like he had the infamous, black plague.

But on September 3rd, Nike stepped out to protect and support the former QB in the manner his blockers use to as he looked down the field for that open receiver. Colin Kaepernick took to social media last night to announce that he had signed a deal with Nike to become the new face of the brand’s Just Do It 30th anniversary campaign. In the post Colin stated, “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything. #JustDoIt,”

Although intricate details of the deal has not yet been released, we understand that Kaepernick will receive his own collection with Nike. Also, in addition to receiving seven figures for the deal, the former QB will also receive royalties from all sales of his upcoming signature merch. Stay tuned for more details on this much deserved deal and s/o to Nike for having the courage to make it happen.
