Are we to actually believe that bitcoin is dead? From what has been reported over the years, bitcoin was the path to the future of currency and commerce. But with the cryptocurrency hitting a new yearly low of $3,126, and experts speculating it will drop lower the market is alarmed. Erik Finman, who is one of the first ever cryptocurrency millionaire says the bitcoin is headed to the trash bin. In an interview with MarketWatch the cryptocurrency millionaire stated, “Bitcoin is dead, it’s too fragmented, there’s tons of infighting. I just don’t think it will last.”
He also stated, “It may have a bull market or two left in it, but long-term, it’s dead.”
That’s a nervous prognosis particular for young people whose first venture into the market has been with investments into cryptocurrencies particularly bitcoins. The only rainbow in what Erik Finman said is he just doesn’t “think it will last.” The opposite of which is, it may last. Stay tuned for any updates.
