CXLOE Shares “Sick” Shares Video Feat. GNASH

Set to close a momentous year with international festival performances at This That and Falls Festival, CXLOEtoday shares the official video for “SICK” feat. Gnash. The Sydney bred, LA-Based artist has already defined herself with a broadly appealing yet critically acclaimed and completely idiosyncratic blend of alternative, electronic, and ‘dark pop’, claiming 22 million streams and global media support touting the words “next big thing”.

Filmed in Los Angeles by director Jade Ehlers (Fall OutBoy, Weezer) featuring LA chart-topper Gnash, the stunning video for “SICK” shows CXLOE letting loose as she paces and moves to the tracks contagious beats. Captured within the confines of her bedroom and white padded walls, CXLOE also wallows in a milk bath that symbolizes the feelings of being swallowed up by the feelings she’s singing about. “The visual for the song was to capture the idea of kind of losing it in your own head,” she shares. “Creating spaces where you feel isolated in your own thoughts.”

“Sick is about loving too much and never wanting to show it, CXLOE adds. “It’s about never having that middle ground or normalcy within yourself because your emotions are extremes of each other.  Sometimes we want to be showered in affection and jewels and dinners, and sometimes we just want that raw emotion of feeling sick over someone, like an obsession – that pit of your stomach sick.”

Maintaining a rush of momentum from critical acclaim, rising streams, and a growing profile, “SICK” adds one more anthem to CXLOE’s 2019 discography, “Low Blow” and “I Can’t Have Nice Things” and continues to build on the success of her 2018 breakthrough “Show You.” Altogether, CXLOE’s previous singles garnered nearly 22 million streams and debuted on a combined 49 New Music Friday playlists. Setting the stage for pop domination, CXLOE’s year has only just begun.
