Deion Sanders premieres his ESPN 30 for 30 Documentary during Super Bowl Week in Atlanta

Floss Magazine was in the house as “Prime Time” Deion Sanders premiered his ESPN 30 for 30 documentary “Deion’s Double Play”.

Produced by NFL Films and SMAC Entertainment and directed by Ken Rodgers, the film details the story of an incredible feat of athleticism and logistics in 1992 in which NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders played baseball with the Atlanta Braves against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Championship, went to Miami to play for the Atlanta Falcons against the Dolphins the next day, and then meet back up to play for the Braves later that night.

This must see film delves into the behind the scenes drama with trying to accomplish this never been done before feat in 24 hours, and all of the controversy surrounding it. Prime Time being Prime Time, Deion Sanders is hilarious but also introspective as he recounts all of the details and his feelings during it.

The premiere was star studded with support from BOTH his Atlanta Braves teammates like Terry Pendleton, and his Atlanta Falcons teammates like Andre Rison. Many stars showed up in droves to support Sanders like Jermaine Dupri, Jeezy, Atlanta’s Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Keri Hilson, Desmond Howard, Bow Wow, Music Producer Drumma Boy, and Evander Holyfield.

ESPN Films 30 for 30 “Deion’s Double Play” premieres nationally on ESPN January 31st at 9pm
