“Boo’d Up,” hit maker Ella Mai is gearing up to release her self-titled debut studio album, Ella Mai. The British R&B star has already dropped three singles from the album, “Boo’d Up”, “Trip” and “Naked.” Her breakout hit “Boo’d” Up,” was previously released in 2017 and was featured on an EP she dropped called, Ready. Ella Mai’s other previously released EPs include Time and Change. Both of which were released as part of a trilogy which included Ready.
Ella Mai’s self-titled debut album is executive produced by DJ Mustard and is scheduled to drop on October 12 via 10 Summers/Interscope Records. Based on the platinum status of “Boo’d Up” and the respective fan base of Ella Mai, it is safe to presume, her debut album will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard chart at best, at worst it will debut within the top 10.
