Lil Uzi Vert is currently on The Endless Summer Tour with Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy and YBN Nahmir. The tour made a stop at the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut, over the weekend where the stars performed for a sold out crowd. During Lil Uzi Vert’s set, a fan threw the Holy Bible at him as he performed his song, “XO Tour Llif3.”
The Bible which missed Lil Uzi laid on the stage for a few seconds before he realized what it was. Realizing that it was a Bible, Uzi picked it up and began to read verses from it as he performed. The significance of it all is that Uzi has been accused in the past of following the cults. In fact Uzi’s upcoming album titled, Eternal Atake was put on hold after his label received threats of a lawsuit over the use of Heaven’s Gate cult imagery.
