Girvan “Fly” Henry Give 16 Kids The Opportunity To Pitch Their Business For Mentorship and Investment in Kids Shark Tank In Atlanta

The Trust In Giving foundation continues to make dreams come true. This time for sixteen (16) pre-tweens, tweens and teens between the ages of six (6) and eighteen (18) are offered funding and/or mentorship for their businesses. The finalists traveled from as far as New York City to take part in Trust In Giving’s inaugural TIG Kids Shark Tanksession on Saturday, April 27th in Atlanta.


TIG/Trust In Giving Founder Girvan “Fly” Henry Hosts Inaugural TIG Kids Shark Tank Giving Children Across The Country The Opportunity To Soar In Business

Held at the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA, the children pitched to seven (7) business leaders aka sharks in Atlanta, that wholehearted supported every pitch received.  The panel of sharks was comprised of TIG/Trust In Giving Founder Girvan “Fly” Henry, ultra-influencer and Founder/CEO Snob Life, Inc. Ming Lee, HBCU SXSW Founder and Partner TechSquare Labs Rodney Sampson,  Partner Collab Venture Fund Barry Givens, Founder/CEO Goodr Jasmine Crowe, real estate developer Cliff Palmer, and The Gathering Spot co-Founder TK Peterson.

“Trust In Giving’s main goal with the TIG Kids Shark Tank is philanthropy.  We want each child that participates to be given the opportunity to receive mentorship from business leaders as well as expose their business to the possibilities of funding.  We’ve heard some very exciting and enterprising pitches and are looking forward to helping the finalists achieve every success.   Every kid walked away with either mentorship, financing or both.” states Trust In Giving Founder Girvan “Fly” Henry. 

Shark Barry Givens awarded siblings Greg Jackson (11-year-old) and Taleya Holbert(18-year-old) from Washington DC crowd sourcing services for their creation of the 3D Affirmation Nightlight, while the scientific tween and pre-tween founders of Atlanta’s Gooiii Kids received a monetary investment from shark Cliff Palmer.  Gooiii Kids founders are 10-year-old Aiyanah Glinton, 11-year-old Jolen Roya, and 6-year-old Destiny Answer.

Ryan Brown launched Kool Kidz University at 7-years-old. Ryan’s clothing line is highly influenced by HBCUs he wanted to create his own school of thought with “Kool” sayings and images that promoted education, positivity and individuality.

COOL World Ice Cream Shop – Atlanta, GA

14-year-old entrepreneur, Victor “Beau” Shell began building his ice cream empire at the age of 8-years-old. Since starting his business, Beau has published his first children’s book, spoken to youth all over the country and received numerous entrepreneur awards and recognitions. Now in his 8th year of operation and after working over 600 events, Beau is weeks away from opening his first ice cream shop, COOL World.

Geordynn B Boutique – Richmond, VA

7-year-old kid influencer Geordynn B is the owner and personality of Miss Geordynn B Boutique. She told mom I want every little girl to just be happy so she added affirmations to bows. Geordynn’s sassy personality aims to encourage girls all over through motivational affirmations.
