After releasing three “The Purge” films Hollywood big wigs have decided to create “The First Purge,” a movie which takes us back to the beginning and how it all started. They’ve released the first trailer for the fourth installment film which stars Y’Lan Noel, Joivan Wade, Luna Lauren Velez and Lex Scott and is directed by Davis Gerard McMurray.
According to the the film’s synopsis, “to push the crime rate below one percent for the rest of the year, the New Founding Fathers of America (NFFA) test a sociological theory that vents aggression for one night in one isolated community. But when the violence of oppressors meets the rage of the marginalized, the contagion will explode from the trial-city borders and spread across the nation.”
‘The First Purge’ is scheduled to hit theaters on July 4th.
