IndiSpotlight: CXLOE Releases Video for Latest Single “I Can’t Have Nice Things”

Dark indie pop sensation, CXLOE has released the official video to accompany her latest single “I Can’t Have Nice Things” alongside announcing her headline tour of the East Coast of Australia which commences May 16th in Sydney.

Filmed in a warehouse in downtown LA, the visual accompaniment to CXLOE’s fourth single “I Can’t Have Nice Things” explores the songs’ theme of isolation and self-deprecation when you feel you can’t have the things you want. Jade Elhers, director of the video (and also previous clip ‘Show You’) is a long time fan of CXLOE and has been working some of the biggest names in music including SIA & Lorde.

“I Can’t Have Nice Things” has had a powerful start with the song reaching one million streams in only half a month, as well as being added to prominent playlists including Spotify’s New Music Friday (in 28 countries), Hot Hits Australia, Pop Rising to name a few.

CXLOE has had a whirlwind past few months proving her place as a key figure in the rising pop scene with her first sold out headline show at The Roxy, in Los Angeles, direct support for Conrad Sewell at the Australian Open New Zealand’s – Broods at the Ice Cream Factory Festival.

Check out the video below.

Since the release of “I Can’t Have Nice Things” CXLOE has come off a sold-out arena tour supporting none other than Maroon 5. The finale song of CXLOE’s set was her previous pop smash “Show You”, where she was accompanied by Maroon 5 member Sam Farrar on guitar, singing the song that started it all to a packed arena.

A CXLOE show is something not to be missed. With a full live band, stirring production and visuals to go along with her iconic mix of moody pop – these debut headline shows are going to sell fast. Don’t miss your opportunity to see CXLOE in these intimate rooms this May 2019. With the Tour and Video now in the mix, she is sure to continue her momentum and continue making waves, worldwide.
