As promised shortly after her performance at the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards, Jennifer Lopez has just released a video for her new song “El Anillo.” She premiered the song in a live performance at the award show which raised the anticipation and her promise of an official video she said would drop today.
For the video Jennifer Lopez collaborated with Versace to create the majestic but sexy outfits which give the visuals that royal feel. The lyrics to “El Anillo” have sparked speculations that it was written about Jennifer Lopez’s relationship with Alex Rodriguez. In one verse she sings, “You treat me like a princess and give me what I ask/ You have the bat and the strength I need,” she rhymes. “When we’re alone, I swear I don’t need anything else/ You get a 13 out of 10 when we’re in bed.”
