Kid Buu Releases Captivating Video for “Misery Needs Company”

LA-based buzzed about hip-hop artist Kid Buu releases the visuals for “Misery Needs Company” from his new EP Blind For Love2 (over 1.5M global streams) released on Valentine’s Day. Shot in the Batcave of the blockbuster hit The Dark Knight (2008), Kid Buu co-directed the music video alongside Redwall Sunny (Redwall Studios). With “Misery Needs Company” already a certified banger, the accompanying music video brings character and life into his lyrics as he sings, “Say you love me to my face, but low-key you don’t fuck with me”.  His undeniable charisma and creativity shine throughout the video and prove as a clear indication that he is one of 2019’s most promising new  hip-hop artists.

Check out the video below.

On the newly released music video, Kid Buu states, “My song and video for “Misery Needs Company” came together off the inspiration when I was in the club noticing a lot of people gathered there were smiling, but I saw a lot of pain behind those smiles. I feel clubs are the place where miserable people go to keep each other company. It is a way for you to shut out the world and escape. “Misery Needs Company” is the anthem for those people, letting them know they’re not alone.”
