Lady Parts Justice League Release Part Two of Their March Madness Series Starring Frangela

What happens when you take the scariest states for reproductive rights in America and assess their creepy laws and oppressive bans using NCAA bracketology? You get a hilarious and terrifying breakdown that shows when it comes to abortion access, March Madness is more like March Sadness. In step with the fervor leading up to the NCAA Final Four games, Lady Parts Justice League (LPJL), an advocacy organization known for using satire and provocative commentary to raise awareness about the threats to reproductive rights, releases the second and final video of “NCAA-holes March On Abortion Rights Madness”– a two-part series highlighting the current state of terrifying abortion bans sweeping across America.

This video tells the story about the state of access to reproductive care in the United States highlighting the East and Southeast “Conferences,” through a fictional tournament called “NCAA-holes (pronounced N-C-double A-holes) March On Abortion Rights Madness.” They satirically break down the rankings of each state in the format of an over-the-top, overly cliched sports analyses type show called “Cathy and The Cooch,” hosted by the amazing political comedy duo of Frances Callier and Angela V. Shelton popularly known as Frangela. In their roles as “Cathy and The Cooch,” Frangela use the bracket system to explain, by conference, who the “Final Four” (read states with the most restrictive laws) are in legislating reproductive rights as they contend to become the NAAA-hole Champions.

Joined by the sardonic comedic actress Emily Fleming who plays Vicky D, a know-it-all guest expert, this sports talk show parody has mastered a misogynistic “Candice Owens meets Stephen A. Smith” type of sports commentary shit talk, and uses it beautifully to drop knowledge about the terrifying laws being passed in each state. The journey to the repro rights finals has been just as riveting and heartbreaking, particularly in the south, with almost every state racing to be the champions of anti-abortion garbage and sexist crap. Brackets have never been busted like this before!

The first video in the series, released last week, highlights the Midwest & Southwest Conference breaking down repro rights in a number of states including Texas, Iowa, & Kansas
