Nike Makes History with First Ever 3D Printed Sneaker Called Nike “Zoom Vaporfly Elite Flyprint”- Details Here!

Nike announced that they are gearing up to release the world’s first 3-D printed textile sneaker created using their new FlyPrint technology. The Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite Flyprint’s upper is created using a process called solid deposit modeling using FlyPrint which is created when a TPU filament is unwound from a coil, melted, and laid down in layers.

Nike used athletes such as world-record holding marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge’s geometries to create the composition for the material, which is fused with both Flyknit and Flywire, there by eliminating the need to use glues while maintaining a distance running shoes that’s lighter than their featherweight Zoom Vaporfly Elite. According to Nike, creating the prototyping using FlyPrint technology was 16 times faster and more efficient than prior and current manufacturing methods.
