Post Malone Sets New Chart Records & Chases a Michael Jackson Record – Details Here!

Post Malone has been having a great year so far and his second album Beerbongs & Bentleys has definitely overcome what the music industry calls ‘the sophomore jinx.’ Since its release, the album has held the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for five consecutive weeks, making it the first album since 2014 to spend at least five weeks at #1.

The star has also become the first male artist to hold the #1 spot for five consecutive weeks since Eminem’s The Eminem Show in 2002. Beerbongs & Bentleys also set a new one-week streaming record in the United States with 431.3 million on-demand audio streams.

Post Malone’s debut album, Stoney is currently #8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. The album has spent the past 70 weeks vacillating in the top ten. If it maintains a spot in the top ten over the next six weeks, it will tie legendary Michael Jackson’s record for Thriller which was in the top ten for 76 weeks. That is BIG! At the pace Post Malone is going that record may soon be his. Stay tuned!
