Quentin Tarantino’s pulls the plug on upcoming film

KillIt’s time to give up hopes for the anticipated upcoming film The hateful eight by Quentin Tarantino because it’s no longer going to be filmed, according to Deadline.com. Apparently, someone in the Hollywood business leaked the script without any permission. Resulting in Tarentino’s disinterest to proceed with project.

I’m very, very depressed,” Tarantino told the site. “I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn’t mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now. I gave it to six people, and apparently it’s gotten out today.” Tarantino only learned of the leak when he received call from other gents trying to book their clients a part for the film. I gave it to one of the producers on Django UnchainedReggie Hudlin, and he let an agent come to his house and read it,” Tarantino said to the site. “That’s a betrayal, but not crippling because the agent didn’t end up with the script. There is an ugly maliciousness to the rest of it. I gave it to three actors: Michael MadsenBruce DernTim Roth. The one I know didn’t do this is Tim Roth. One of the others let their agent read it and that agent has now passed it on to everyone in Hollywood. I don’t know how these fucking agents work, but I’m not making this next. I’m going to publish it, and that’s it for now. I give it out to six people and if I can’t trust them to that degree, then I have no desire to make it. I’ll publish it. I’m done. I’ll move on to the next thing. I’ve got ten more where that came from.”

Quentin Tarantino suspects that the leak came from CAA, which represents Bruce Deen. Nonetheless, the site is warning readers not to expect the identity of the person who leaked the script anytime soon.   Although the film isn’t progressing into  development, Tarantino fans shouldn’t  be completely disappointed. With the possibility of The Hateful Eight being published, at most the story will be brought to light.   He later admitted that there could be a change of thought in the future, that he may actually film the script. But it’s definitely not one of his upcoming projects.   As talented as this man  is, we all know he will pull out another masterpiece  from the endless pit of ideas stored in his thinking cap and put it into production soon enough.

Moral of the story? Be selective of whom you trust.
