In the beginning of this year embattled star R. Kelly released a new single called “Born To My Music.” In addition to the release he announced that he had a new album coming soon. A few days later Lifetime’s documentary Surviving R. Kelly hit the airwaves and many things changed. The allegations against the crooner were so scandalous that protest and boycotts against him ensued.

His long time record label which he still owes two albums to have become the latest entity to turn their back on him due to the scandal. RCA records who recently signed Chris Brown is reportedly separating themselves from R. Kelly. They have proposed a plan to not further promote any of his current music nor release any of his upcoming music. Additionally, the label may announce in the coming days their plan to drop the troubled star from his contract and two remaining albums with RCA Records.
