There are some battles that are best to fight and others are best to retreat from in order to fight another day. The last time Remy Ma was in such a battle she almost destroyed Nicki Minaj’s career with the song, “Shether.” In fact that was the battle that got Atlantic records interested in Cardi B. Their hope was that if Nicki Minaj fell, Cardi B would fill in the gap. Subsequently Cardi B was signed in the days following.
During Remy Ma’s State Of The Culture show yesterday, in an ongoing discussion about Cardi and Nicki’s feud, Remy called both of the stars “corny.” Afterwards she stated her feelings that if they were both real, they would have fought each other. Remy is not the talking type and history shows that. Lets remember that Remy did time after shooting a friend for stealing money from her and lying about.
Of course Remy Ma has changed, she’s married and is not the same person she was back when the shooting occurred. And also that was a different situation and no one really knows the back story that led up to the incident. A response from Cardi B or Nicki Minaj is expected but we’ll keep you posted.
