Rising Philly Rapper Kur Drops New Single & Video: “Back Then”

Rising Philly rapper Kur is on his “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” with the release of his new single “Back Then,” which he released today with an accompanying video. “Back Then” has Kur reminiscing about his grind coming up in the rap game and how he had to stay focused to reach his goals in life. Shot in Philly, the video is directed by Rick Nyce and shows key spots along Sharpnack Streetthat have meaning throughout his career.  “Back Then” will be featured on Kur’s new EP that is slated to be released in late spring.

“When I first heard this track, It just took me back and inspired me to talk about my process…the grind to get to this point right here,” states Kur. “Coming up in Philly, up top, Vernon Road, not only me but a lot of us had obstacles.  Some we avoided and others we couldn’t but I know that being focused and keeping my eye on what was important got me here.”
