As Nicki Minaj and Cardi B call a truce to their ongoing feud a new battle front has opened up for Nicki with Steve Madden. The relatively quiet iconic shoe designer, Steve Madden shook everyone up when he took to social media to call out Nicki Minaj and label her a liar. It turns out Steve Madden is heated because Nicki Minaj claims she was offered a collaborative deal with his company which she turned down.
The designer took to his social media and posted bluntly, “@NICKIMINAJ you can’t turn down an offer that was never made. #StopLying.”
Under normal circumstances in rap, those are fighting words, but this is beyond rap. It appears what set it off was an alleged claim by Nicki Minaj that she was offered a deal by Steve Madden which was then offered to Cardi B, after she (Nicki) rejected it. Nicki’s statement, left the proverbial “sloppy seconds” claim on Cardi B who proudly accepted the deal, being the business woman that she is. Then followed the tweet which Steve Madden responded to from Nicki stating,
