The top music producers and songwriters were celebrated at the 2018 BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. The star studded lineup included Ciara, Missy Elliot and Teyana Taylor just to name a few. Multiple Grammy Award winning singer and superstar Janet Jackson was honored with the BMI Icon Award which is the highest honor taking recognition of her millions of records sold over her stellar career.
