The self proclaimed King of New York, Tekashi 6ix9ine has possibly been forced to learn a stern lesson in getting money as an artist and holding on to it as a business man. In an interview, Tekashi explained that when you look at his 69 tatts, no matter what angle you look at them from, upside down or otherwise, you will always see 69. That concept must also apply to the artist that is controversial and getting money and the businessman that must keep the money once attained and then grow it. The two sides of Tekashi, both the artist and the businessman, like the 69 must also become interchangeable and demmentional.

The star was recently dropped by Tunes Audio from a lucrative $4,9 million contract to launch a self branded headphone collection. The break down of the deal reportedly stem from a shooting at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn which took place during the Adrian Broner vs. Jessie Vargas fight. Tekashi’s manager Tr3yway is reportedly a suspect in the incident which is currently under investigating by NYPD.

A senior executive at TUNES Audio stated “6ix9ine’s close affiliation to a recent shooting cost him the contract. At this time it is in the best interest of our company to move on. We wish him well, he’s a great artist.”
