Tekashi 6ix9ine Sent to General Population in Brutal Prison after His Million Dollar Bail Offer is Declined – Details Here!

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s attorney has at the star’s direction reportedly offered to surrender 69’s passport and post $1 million bail if the court agreed. But the offer was quickly declined by a Brooklyn court judge. Following the hearing his attorney told the awaiting press that, “Tekashi has been placed in general population at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center instead of being held in a segregated part of the federal pen … due to his celeb status.”

Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center is listed as one of the most dangerous holding centers in Brooklyn because inmates considered “extremely dangerous, violent, or escape-prone,” are housed there according to the U.S. Justice Department. Tekashi’s next court date is scheduled for next Tuesday. With reports that Tekashi’s life was in danger based on threats from members of his previous management team coupled with his gang affiliation and celebrity status, there is no word yet as to why he was placed in general population. Under normal circumstances inmates falling under any of the categories mentioned would normally be held in a segregation area or in a protective custody cell area. We’ll keep you posted.
