Tekashi 6ix9ine’s connection to controversy is almost as notorious as his singles consecutively charting on Billboard and going platinum and then multi-platinum. Recently, an unverified video was released showing Police officers who raided his home in Brooklyn and allegedly found a fire arm used in a crime. Prior to that, 6ix9ine had several arrests for various things including, a case in Houston for allegedly chocking a fan.
In 2015, prosecutors reportedly offered 6ix9ine probation in a case, if he stayed out of trouble. But with all his recent arrests prosecutors are now reportedly pushing to revoke his probation and to give him jail time when he returns to court on October 10. 6ix9ine is due back in court to face charges for assaulting a police officer and could face between one and three years, according to Page Six.
In other 6ix9ine news, his new single “Stoopid” drops tomorrow. In regards to the gun found in his Brooklyn home during the raid, his attorney, Lance Lazzaro feels the charges will be very difficult to prove.
