The Boss Rick Ross is Now Also Known As “Tajiri” – Details Here!

Rick Ross has been going through some ups and downs health wise while he continues to make great music and tour. Over the weekend and in between shows at B.B. King’s, he suffered a set back health wise. Instead of leaving for the hospital he stayed, relaxed his body for an hour or so and then demanded he be allowed to take the stage for his second show.

while performing recently in Kenya, the star who is already known to fans by various names including Boss, and Rozay, received a new nick name “Tajiri.” The name was given to Ross during an interviewer on a Kenyan radio show by its host. The name Tajiri according to the show’s host is a Swahili word that means “prestige, power, wealth and richness.” The host stated that, “With wealth comes power. With power comes responsibility. Tajiri. That’s your name. When you go up on that stage tomorrow, boo, I’ma be waiting on you to say ‘What’s up Kenya, it’s your boy Tajiri!”

Talk about inspiration! It would have been great to be at that show and feel the energy as Ross took the stage and greeted the audience with ‘What’s up Kenya, it’s your boy Tajiri!” Not lost in translation Tajiri seems to be in short Kenya’s word for Boss or Rozay. We continue to wish Rick Ross better health and continued success! Long live Tajiri!
