The Weeknd Drops “Call Out My Name” Video – Watch Here!
The Weeknd has just released the video for his hit song, “Call Out My Name.” The video which is directed by Grant Singer, features The Weeknd in an emotionally charged performance, wandering around in cinematic thoughts at various locations including deserted city streets and in a desert.
“Call Out My Name” is the lead single from The Weeknd’s new album My Dear Melancholy. The album debut five songs in the top 10 of Billboard’s On-Demand Streaming Songs is a Billboard 200-chart topping album. Led by “Call Out My Name,” which debuts at No. 1 on the April 14-dated list with 32.2 million on-demand audio streams, according to Nielsen Music. “Try Me” and “Wasted Times” debut at Nos. 3 and 4 with 21.3 and 19.6 million on-demand audio streams and “I Was Never There” (17.7 million) and “Hurt You” (14.9 million) debut at Nos. 7 and 9.
In doing so, The Weeknd becomes the first artist to debut five songs simultaneously in the top 10 of the chart since Kendrick Lamar, who launched eight into the region on the May 6, 2017.
