The Weeknd promised that he was going to deliver an epic performance at the Coachella and that he did. He took the stage at about 4am and turned the energy levels way up with the performance of his hits including his new single, “Call Out My Name.” The star and many fans in the audience became tearful when he sang the Selena Gomez inspired song. The emotional level from that point on became high energy melancholic, so much so that some of the musicians also shed a tear in the moment. If you’ve loved and lost the one you loved or have been dogged out by the one you love, The Weeknd’s performance and the atmosphere at the Coachella would have fully taken you to that point of reminiscence.

The Weeknd kept control of the entire audience throughout the show as they sang along with his hits, from the opening with “Pray For Me” until the end. The Weeknd’s records sales and his popularity will definitely increase as the word of his Coachella performance spreads and as he hits the road for other shows at Panorama NYC, Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival, Lollapalooza Berlin and more.
