Upper Story, with cuisine by world renowned chef Charlie Palmer, features an American café menu by day and progressive American, seasonally-driven special events menu by night, featuring local ingredients expertly crafted into delectable dishes by Executive Chef Jennifer Day. With over 15 years’ experience in upscale events, Chef Day combines her life-long passion for food with her incredible attention to detail at Upper Story’s large-scale events.

With the stunning top floor views and spacious interior, Upper Story is the ideal setting for personal gatherings as well as larger event celebrations. Special Event menus include reception cocktail stations offering small plate dishes such as The Mediterranean, a combination of Hummus, Babaganoush, Roasted Red Pepper Dip, beside Marinated Olives and Fava Bean Dip served with Za’atar Pita and Lavash. The Plated Dinner includes the choice of one appetizer, such as the Beet Carpaccio, a Housemade Ricotta, Shaved Fenne; and Citrus Vinaigrette creation. This is followed by a choice of two entrees including Seared Scallops, made with Romesco, Sugar Snap Peas, Chorizo and Fingerling Potatoes. Their dessert selection features the Warm Seasonal Cobbler, made with Cinnamon Streusel and topped with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Café menu favorites include Pesto Zucchini Noodles with Arugula and Oven Dried Tomatoes and Scottish Salmon with Wheat Berries and Roasted Artichokes. Enjoy spectacular views of Manhattan for lunch, Monday through Friday 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM or for social or corporate functions in the 300 person event space(180 seated) and 1000 sq. ft. terrace.
