Nas has released his short film called, NASIR. The 16 minute film, features music from Nas’ 2018 album, Nasir. The film, written and directed by Rohan Blair-Mangat stars Nas, Slick Rick, Demarius Mack, and more. Film maker, Rohan Blair-Mangat is known for his work on JAY-Z’s video for “Bam”.
Nasir takes a look at the stories and social issues that Nas dealt with in his life including racism and police brutality. The film includes both old footage and new footage from Nas’ career coupled with songs off his Nasir album.
