This year has been filled with ironies and occurrences. Take for example the fact that Valentine’s Day fell on the same day as Ash Wednesday and now ironically Easter Sunday and April Fools Day are also on the same day. Not to sound conspiratory, we decided to look into the history of both of these holidays days. We wanted to know what inspired Easter Sunday and what does the Easter Bunny and Eggs have to do with the holiday.
According to Wikipedia – Easter, also called Pascha (Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD.
