Multi-Platinum rap star and budding fashion influencer, YG, expands his portfolio yet again with the release of his 4 Hunnid Clothing Spring/Summer ’17 Collection. S/S ’17 is an extended continuation of YG’s Spring I Collection, a line that features a mixture of caps, sweatshirts, hoodies and embroidered tees – all designed in the style of YG’s edgy, Compton streetwear inspired aesthetic. YG and 4Hunnid Clothing Creative Director, Gavin “Mizzle” Mathieu, told WWD exclusively that the full collection will be available to shop beginning June 1st on www.4Hunnid.com.
When asked about the inspiration behind the new collection’s designs, 4Hunnid Clothing Creative Director Gavin “Mizzle” Mathieu states: People always thought of 4 Hunnid as merch, so we want to present it in a different way for people to perceive it differently,” said Mathíeu. “We really want to create a fashion brand.”
The 4HUNNID Clothing Collection launched in February of 2016. In conjunction with release, the brand initiated a test order with street and skate wear powerhouse retailer, Zumiez. Zumiez states the 4Hunnid Clothing Collection was the fastest selling test order in Zumiez history – proceeding to expand its purchase of the collection which will now be available in over 400 stores nationwide.
