Young Greatness Signs With Cash Money Records & Drops “We Rollin”

Today, New Orleans rapper Young Greatness dropped his first single “We Rollin” on Cash Money Records at all digital retailers. Produced by Grammy Nominated Drumma Boy [Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Future], the song also properly kicks off his partnership with Cash Money Records.

“I always wanted to attach myself to Cash Money,” he exclaims. “That was a dream of mine that I would even put into my raps back in the day. I built this up, and now I know that “Birdman” and “Slim” are going to take it to the next level. Together, we can bring New Orleans to the forefront of the culture.”

“The first time I heard him, I knew he was going to be big,” adds Cash Money Records Co-Founder and Chief Executive Bryan “Birdman” Williams aka Baby. “He’s got a grasp on melody that few artists have. It’s the sound of the future.”

“We’ve been watching Greatness for a long time,” says Cash Money Records Co-Founder and Chief Executive Ronald “Slim” Williams. “He represents the next era of New Orleans superstars, and we’re honored to welcome him to the family. Together, we’re going make history for our hometown.”

“We Rollin” paves the way for the arrival of more music from Greatness—coming very soon. By the time he landed his dream deal with Cash Money Records in 2017, Young Greatness had already earned an RIAA gold plaque for the smash single “Moolah” as well as the recognition of Forbes, Noisey, The Fader, Complex, and more between releasing standout mixtapes such as 2015’s I Tried To Tell Em and 2016’s I Tried To Tell Em 2.  However, his road twisted and turned down an unbelievable path—from NFL prospect to Katrina survivor to convict to underground star—before he reached this point. Now, he’s realized his full potential and is ready to share “Greatness” with the world…
