The Tekashi 6ix9ine robbery and kidnapping from its inception looked like he was set up. When you take a look at past casual videos of 6ix9ine, he’s always had security around him and or an entourage. But at 4:00 A.M. in the morning and with $700,000 worth of jewelry and $20,000 cash, he’s left to go home alone? Many people, particularly those from Brooklyn had already known what 6ix9ine revealed to Akademiks. For that type of money, there are those who would set their own mother up and issue orders to rob her but not to shoot or kill her.
In a call to Akademiks following his hospitalization, 6ix9ine let his fans know he suffered a concussion but he was alright and glad to be alive. He also shared with Akademiks his thoughts on his kidnapping and subsequent robbery. In the conversation, he stated “It was an inside job.” In another portion of the conversation 6ix9ine stated, “it wasn’t no outside n*ggas. It’s n*ggas that know how the king of New York moves, you know what I’m saying? The only person that can get a Pharaoh in Egypt is the person who helped build the fuckin’ kingdom, you know what I’m saying? The n*gga that’s right next to him. The n*gga that know who built that shit, that got the blueprints.”
