Tekashi 6ix9ine had his day in court this morning and he entered a not guilty plea to a 17 count federal racketeering indictment. The crimes 69 and others are being charged with is a five-year spree which dates back to 2013. Following his not guilty plea, the judge set 69’s trial date for September 4th, 2019.
The trail date is almost one year away as 69’s lawyer suggested. Therefore he plans to apply for his client’s bail directly to the judge who will preside over the trial. Tekashi, his manager Shottie and others were named in an indictment which listed them as members of the Nine Trey Bloods. They are also named as conspirators in a slew of crimes, including drug trafficking, armed robberies and shootings. They are all facing life in prison if convicted.
