Delacey has also announced her first set of live shows to take place next month in Los Angeles and New York City. On May 16th, Delacey will play LA’s The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood and then on May 22nd, she will play NYC’s Mercury Lounge in the Lower East Side. “My Man” was released in March and the single’s reception has quickly made Delacey an artist to watch. Following the release, Idolator declared, “’My Man’ stands out thanks to Delacey’s velvety vocals, lyrical prowess and less-is-more approach to production” andBillboard stated, “Her poise amid the conflict exhibits a maturity and self-awareness beyond her 26 years as she deftly captures the competing vigilance and insecurities of a shaky relationship.” BuzzFeed featured Delacey and “My Man” in their round up of “19 Songs From Up-And-Coming Artists Released In March [They] Refuse To Let You Sleep On,” proclaiming, “this bluesy single is just the start from her.”

Featured as Annie Mac’s “Hottest Record in the World” on BBC Radio 1 , “My Man” has already racked up over 1.7 million streams, with nearly 1 million streams on Spotify , where it was featured on 16 New Music Friday playlists worldwide, as well as Indie Popand All New Indie playlists. “My Man” was also featured on Apple Music’s Best of the Weekand Breaking Pop playlists. The single is receiving early airplay from an eclectic mix of leading stations like KCRW (LA), Sirius XM’s Alt Nation and KIIS FM (LA).

Originally from Orange County, Delacey started writing songs and playing piano at age seven while idolizing the likes of Stevie Nicks and Billie Holiday. Over the years, Delacey has developed her own narrative voice that is both self-aware and sharply poetic, instilling each track with the melodic ingenuity she’s shown in co-writing songs like Halsey’s “Without Me,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as songs for Demi Lovato, Zara Larsson, The Chainsmokers, and more.
