6th Annual Fashion and Football Gala Presented by The Fashion Reporter
Last Wednesday celebrities and athletes came out to celebrate the 6th Annual Fashion and Football Gala during NFL draft Week presented by The Fashion Reporter. The event was held at Slake, a state-of-the-art event space in Midtown featuring hand painted artistic walls. Guests were treated to mouth-watering strawberry and chocolate ice cream compliments of Cold Stone Creamery while VIPs enjoyed custom cocktails by Crown Royal that were mixed with ginger ale and topped off with cherries making for the perfect spring soirée cocktail.
Alexander Nash featured his stunning Spring/Summer bespoke collection consisting of paisley, fatigue and plaid detailing with unexpected yet appropriate hues for this season. In fact, his collection blended in quite nicely with the decor and African art featured on the walls at Slake. Monster Energy provided energizing drinks and wristbands to recharge guests for the rest of the evening while Conair for Men provided hairbrushes with premium bristles for all guests in attendance. Regular Royalty provided premium, and extremely stylish watches to all VIPs attendance and Princess London Shoes provided women’s shoes from their spring/summer collection.
Dj Price is Right kept the crowd moving to Top 40 hits as well as throwback tracks and the night concluded with us applauding another year of #fashionandfootball.
Notable guests in attendance included Po Johnson from VH1’s LaLa’s Full Court Life, Jermaine Crawford from the hit show Scandal, Sharon Carpenter of Revolt TV, music mogul Sandy Lal, Tutan Reyes NFL veteran, KJ Stroud of the NY Jets, fashion designer Alexander Nash, NY party guru/socialite Michael James and Crystal Berger of Fox News to name a few.
