Motherhood is going to take precedence to Cardi B’s music career and we are happy to hear that. Well sort of. The star announced via social media that her show at the Broccoli Fest in Washington D.C. this weekend is going to be her last performance before she takes a break from music to tender to herself and her unborn child. Therefore the remainder of her concerts including her Texas, Florida, New York, Ireland, Norway and other shows have been canceled.

Cardi B will be back on the scene just in time to hit the road for the Bruno Mars 24K Magic Tour which kicks off in September. Check out Cardi’s IG post below announcing her hiatus from performing. The good thing is we hear that Cardi B will still me making and recording good music. There is also a possibility that she will be releasing some remixes and new songs outside of those on her current album.
