Carrie Underwood has released a video for her single called, “Cry Pretty.” The video is the first music video released by the star since her accident in November that required over 40 stitches to her face. “Cry Pretty,” is the first single from Carrie Underwood’s forthcoming sixth studio album. She premiered a teaser clip of the video during Sunday night’s American Idol episode.
“I apologize if you don’t like what you see,” she sings “But sometimes my emotions get the best of me / And falling apart is as human as it gets / You can’t hide it, you can’t fight what the truth is.”
Carrie Underwood debuted “Cry Pretty” during her performance in April’s ACM Awards in Las Vegas. The song has been a source of strength for the Country music star following her accident. Carrie is currently in the studio working on her album which is also titled “Cry Pretty” and is scheduled to drop in September.
